Two people. One process. Neither of them sure what to do next.
Hiring or being hired across borders in South Africa comes with a legal process that most employers and most employees simply were never taught. The result is the same story, over and over: applications submitted with the wrong documents, months lost to preventable rejections, employers who quietly give up on sponsoring a foreign employee because the process feels like a black box, and employees left to figure out qualification verification, labour clearance and application procedure entirely on their own.
You don't need to guess your way through it, and you don't need to carry it alone.
Maltech-Africa facilitates the employer side and the employee side of work permit and employment visa applications — so the process moves, the paperwork is right the first time, and nobody is left trying to interpret legislation between meetings.
This is exactly where we come in.
1. Consultation & Assessment
We review your specific situation — the role, the qualifications, the circumstances — and assess what applies to you before any further step is taken.
If you proceed, this fee is credited toward your Documentation Drafting or Application Assistance fee.
2. Employer Documentation Drafting for Submission
We take over the drafting and preparation of the documentation required for submission — compiled, sequenced, and prepared to the standard a submission needs to be taken seriously.
For employers who know their time is better spent running their business than deciphering application requirements.
3. Employee Application Assistance (SAQA, Labour & related)
We guide and assist employees through the required application processes — including qualification verification and labour-related requirements — so nothing is submitted incomplete, out of sequence, or in the wrong format.
Excludes third-party department fees.
Every case is different, and the specific requirements, documents, and procedure for your situation are confirmed once you engage with us — through the Consultation & Assessment fee, or the deposit for the relevant process. This isn't red tape for its own sake: it's how we make sure the guidance you receive is actually correct for your case, and not a generic checklist that leaves out the detail that matters.
Ready to find out exactly where you stand? Book your Consultation & Assessment and get a clear, case-specific starting point — for you or your employee. And if you move forward, that fee counts toward the next stage.
Department and third-party fees are separate from Maltech-Africa's professional fees and are payable directly where applicable.
